Google has New logo

Google has had many logos since its renaming from BackRub. The first logo was created by Sergey Brin using GIMP. The logo underwent a major revision on September 1, 2015.

The current Google logo was launched on September 1st, 2015. The logo now has a new sans-serif typeface, tailor made and called Product Sans, with softer colors, bearing resemblance to Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc. Source – Wiki

Company said:

“It doesn’t simply tell you that you’re using Google, but also shows you how Google is working for you. For example, new elements like a colorful Google mic help you identify and interact with Google whether you’re talking, tapping or typing. Meanwhile, we’re bidding adieu to the little blue ‘g’ icon and replacing it with a four-color ‘G’ that matches the logo.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve changed our look and it probably won’t be the last, but we think today’s update is a great reflection of all the ways Google works for you across Search, Maps, Gmail, Chrome and many others. We think we’ve taken the best of Google (simple, uncluttered, colorful, friendly), and recast it not just for the Google of today, but for the Google of the future.

Want to Know – How International Yoga Day  Start?

The declaration of this day came after the call for the adoption of 21 June as International Day of Yoga by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address to UN General Assembly on September 27, 2014 wherein he stated:

“Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness within yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change. Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day

In suggesting June 21, which is the Summer Solstice, as the International Day of Yoga, Narendra Modi had said that the date is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and has special significance in many parts of the world.

Source: wikipedia.org

As per TOI report on June 21 2015 – India will lead 191 countries to mark the day with over 35,000 participants expected to perform various yoga “asanas” at a mega event on Rajpath here.

Modi said in a statement on 20th June 2015.

Tomorrow the world will celebrate the first Yoga Day. I urge you all to be a part of it and inspire others to join as well”

Yoga is already the leading form of therapy and health regime among systems that have traveled from the east to the west. In the U.S. alone the yoga industry, which includes classes and sales of assorted paraphernalia, is estimated at $10 billion a year.

Letter written by Housing.com CEO, Rahul Yadav

Dear board members and investors, I don’t think you guys are intellectually capable enough to have any sensible discussion anymore. This is something which I not just believe but can prove on your faces also!

I had calculated long back (by taking avg life expectancy minus avg sleeping hrs) that I only have ~3L (hours) in my life. ~3L hrs are certainly not much to waste with you guys!

Hence resigning from the position of directorship, chairmanship and the CEO position of the company. I’m available for the next 7 days to help in the transition. Won’t give more time after that. So please be efficient in this duration.

Cheers, Rahul

Still there is no winner here, Spark is not yet out in the market so nobody has test it personally. Once it will come out in hands then only we can decide if its a worth buy @ Rs 5000 or not.  We recommend to go for Moto-E which is a great smart phone with no heating issues. Spark might have the heating issues as described by some experts.
